Triggerfish Brewing
One of the best micro breweries in South Africa at the moment is Triggerfish Brewing in Somerset West. The small brewery is situated in the old Dynamite factory and it is a little tricky to get there but it is worth the effort.
If you have an interest in beers and would like to see South African beer culture evolve you should follow Triggerfish Brewing. The range of eight different brands today are going to triple in the next couple of years and maybe you would see some really odd sour beers as well. Since old Wine barrels cost R150 you could do a lot of of interesting beers without spending a lot of money. I am looking forward to see the first South African Grand Cru soon (when it has matured for a year or so).
